The first picture was Shyanne and Conner, then came Jaren, Katlynn and Trenton. Third picture was all the children, Corey Tyler and DJ. They all did a fine job. Sis. Hellmann did a fine job putting it all together. The last picture was at home here with grandma before church after getting her ready...

Bible Reading

James 4:9 and 14

    9) Be afflicted, morn and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning and your joy to heaviness.
  14) Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow,  for what is life? It is even a vapor that apparel for a little time and then vanisheth away.
Isaiah 38:1 )  Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

Quote from Robb French:  Someone criticised him for always talking serious about eternity and death.
" This man had a good farm and nice home with a large cellar. I wanted to take him by the arm and lead him to the cellar door and say, "Why have you all this wood down here, and all this canned fruit.?" Why winter is coming. We're getting ready for it. Aw, don't think about winter. The grass is green, flowers are blooming, and birds are singing, we ought to think more about this solemn point. It would revolutionize our lives to live more in the light of eternity."
Friends I want sheaves to lay at my Master's feet. Aren't you glad we are living in this needy world? Arent' you glad we are servants of Jesus Christ? Aren't you glad for the great Commission? Oh, we're not on a dress parade. We're not on a picnic. We're an army fighting in a great battle and this battle is for souls of men. We're working for the Kings of Kings. Win one soul for Jesus Christ and you have won a fortune for time and eternity,.
Say I'm talking about winning souls for Jesus. I'm talking about coming home at the close of the day, at the end of the journey, with arms full of sheaves to lay at the master's feet. What could be more tragic to die without a sheaf, without a soul?
Friend's, you had better get things fixed up. You say. "It will cost me to much. " But it will cost you to much not to do it.
My friends, this is not easy. Sometimes you lose some of  your friends, but you gain some more. I have not chosen to please my worldly-minded relatives, not to please the sophisticated members of the church, but I please God.
Friends, this matter of being a christian is getting more serious to me every day. How many of us, if we died tonight, could say, " I am clear of the blood of the people of my community, the people who live in the neighborhood where I am. I have done my best." Have you visited in the homes in your neighborhood; have you spoken to the people you work with about their souls?
If you should forget everything else I have said, remember the text. " Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live."
We are in the land of the dying. Let's face that seriously. There is no horror of death to one who is ready to meet God. The sting of death is gone. Friends, what would death mean to you tonight? "

This is so true and it is my hearts desire. We need to live our lives as this could be the last day on earth and to keep Jesus in constant view. We need to see our family in. We need to get them in the ark. The storm is brewing and it is getting so dark. Now is the day of salvation!!!

My Cry for Renewal, "Keep the Lights On!!"

Whenever there is decline, out from the midst of the faltering          church comes cry for renewal. Either by renewal of a lost virtue        from with in, or by fragments that emerge to themselves carry the       light, the work goes on!
Fickleness of humans, then sometimes unfriendly world, always  tempting, seducing world, she has failed often in                 maintaing her Glory and Holding unto her first love.
Church, keep the Light on!! Don't back down. Keep the fire and the Glory! The World is always changing, but God has never                     changed. We are not to be conformed to this old world. Our world is  Heavenly, one that fadeth not away.
"Will you dare to be different in a sin loving world, will you         stand for the one who stood for you, though they call you old fashion, when you mention His name, it doesn't matter if to him you have         been true. It doesn't matter what the world may say or do, it doesn't    matter just as long as your heart is true, you'll be rewarded for the     way God thinks of you. It doesn't matter if to Him you have been         true.

Shy and Ashley having fun, 11-7-11

My mom had a nasty fall!!

My mom fell Nov. 4th, Friday at her home while she was picking a cabbage from outside to make my step dad some cole slaw. She had to go to the hospital. She can not open her eye yet, and it is painful to her. She also had some fractures near the eye and her left side of her face and it is bruised and swollen, along with the inside. She had damaged her sinuses also.
Keep her in your prayers. She has to go to an eye doctor. They were saying she might have to have surgery. Lets pray she doesn't.

This world is not my home

                                                                                                       Romans 12:1-2

1. I beseech you therefore, brethern, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, accepted unto God, which is your reasonable service.
2. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye prove what is that good and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

I am just a pilgrim and a stranger passing through through this world.. I have an eternal home that I am longing and looking for, where my Heavenly Father , and all the blood washed are gathered togethered, enjoying the time of their lives." It will be worth it all when we see Jesus." What a grand and wonderful day it'll be!!

1. Do I worry more what people think of me or what Jesus thinks of me?
2. Does my talk talk more loudly then my walk talks?
3. Do I spend my days and nights in tune with Jesus?
4. Does my heart desire, long to sit at His feet and spend time with Him?
5. Does my life and conversation adorn the gospel of Jesus Christ?
6. Have I made the most of my precious time, as far as I had light, strength, and opportunity?
7. Do I want more of Jesus then the pleasures of this world?
8. If any despise me, do I like them the worse for it?
9. Am I dead to all desires of praise?
10. Does others see Jesus in me?

"What a day that'll be when my Jesus I shall see!"  Home coming day is almost here. I am ready to move!  UP,UP, UP, AND AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! TO MY BRAND NEW HOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Time is Almost Over

                              Time is Almost Over

Chorus:

Time is almost over, it’s nearly over. Jesus is ready to call us home.

He’s waiting on the Father, to tell Him it’s time , Son

Go call your children, to come on Home.

1. Oh, to be with Jesus and all the saints before us, to sing His praises

To our wonderful Lord. Oh, praise our Redeemer, We’ll shout and sing forever, to our King Eternal, the Great I Am.

2. Oh, how I love Him, how I adore Him. My, Blessed Saviour , my, Morning Star. He’s done so much for me, He’s always been there, He is my everything, My, all in all!

3. Worthy, the Lamb, He is. He spilt His blood for all, so we can come to Him, just as we are. We’re so unworthy, of His grace and mercy, but He intercedes for us, because He cares.

4. He’s reaching out to all, Oh, please accept His call. He wants all to come when He takes His Bride home. He will not push or shove, He gently pleads and calls, and shows His nail scarred hands, for He say’s, “Please come.”

Back to chorus;

James 5: 7-8

7) Be patient, therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord, Behold, the husbandman waited for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until He receives the early and latter rain.

8) Be ye also patient, stablish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh.

Update on Grandchildren and Austin

The Lord's Mercies

Just was reading this morning of the Lord's Mercies, Lamentation 2:22- The Lord is so good!!
22-It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, because His compassions fail not.
23- They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness!
24-The Lord is my portion, saith my soul! Therefore will I hope in Him.
25- The Lord is good unto him that wait for Him, to the soul that seeketh him.
26- It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord.
27- It is good for a man that he bear the yoke in his youth.
28- He sitteth alone and keepeth silence, because he hath borne it upon him.
29- He putteth his mouth in the dust:if so be there may be hope.
30- He giveth his cheek to him that smitteth him: he is filled full with reproach.
31- FOR THE LORD WILL NOT CAST OFF FOR EVER.
32- BUT THOUGH HE CAUSE GRIEF, YET WILL HE HAVE COMPASSION TO THE MULTITUDE OF HIS MERCIES!!!!!!
33- FOR HE DOETH NOT AFFLICT WILLINGLY NOR GRIEVE THE CHILDREN OF MEN.
40-LET US SEARCH AND TRY OUR WAYS, AND TURN AGAIN TO THE LORD!!
41. Let us lift up our heart with our hands unto God in the Heavens.
55- I called upon thy name,O Lord, out of the low dungeon.
56- Thou hast heard my voice, hide not thine ear at my breathing, at my cry.
57- Thou drewest near in the day that I called upon thee: Thou saidest, "Fear Not"!
58- O, Lord, Thou hast pleaded the causes of my soul, thou hast redeemed my life!!
