Happy Birthday Ashley
Sheyanne's 2 month up date
We ( Ashley and I) took Sheyanne for her 2 month old check-up and first set of shots on the 13th of March. She weighed 9 lbs and 5 oz. and is now 22 in" long. She is doing well. The monitor hasn't went off in a while. She is smiling at you now, (when she wants). She is such a good baby, hardly cries, but grunts a lot!! LOL Bruce calls her lovingly, "Grunts". She is a real joy!!

"AS IS"
That was the title of Rev. Hellmanns message on Sunday evening," As Is".
Here is the scripture that he read, Matthew 9:10-13
10, And it came to pass,as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with Him and His disciples.
11, And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto His disciples, Why eateth you Master with Publicans and sinners?
12, But when Jesus heard that,He said unto them,They that be whole need not a Physician, but they that are sick.
13, But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but the sinners to repentance.
This message went right along with my thoughts last week. This is how we will win the sinners over to Jesus. Take them as they are and love them for who they are, not what they do. Jesus has to take it out of their heart, as he does the changing and saving, we don't. We are just an instrument for Him. We are just the clay He is the potter, Aren't you glad?
Just like to women caught in the very act of adultery, Jesus actually loved her and forgave her but told her to go and sin no more. The Samaritan women at the well, he loved her too and won her to Him. We are to be just like him, Love them just as they are. "AS IS"

My thoughts for today.
Would Jesus be nice to people that are lower then us, poorer then us, maybe not all there, and the called outcast of this world that we wouldn't approve of or want to hang out with?? YES!
Then I don't get it how some people can act like they are to good for these people or don't want to spend time with them as they might be different or they might have to be quiet and have to listen instead of them doing all the talking. I'm not saying we have to like it, but sometimes we have to sacrifice (our talking) to learn to listen to others, even if it's BORING! We need to learn the act of listening more.
How will we win others to Christ if we can't listen or show more love then a," glad you came" and a smile or a quick hand shake, going out the door, to our home, church or wherever we are at, but ignore them the rest of the time.
I have people come to me and tell me they don't think so and so likes them. I would make excuses and say that is just the way they are, don't take it personal. I shouldn't have to say that.
I would rather be with the lower class of people that appreciate things, then some one who thinks, has an air about them or acts they are too good, for some, unless they have prestige or something like it.
I like what Jesus said: Matthew 23:11, But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.12, And whosoever shall exalt himself be be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.. Acts 10:34, Of a truth I perceive that God is not a respecter of persons. Also Galatians chapter 2 is a good chapter to read.
I'm so glad that Jesus loves me and always listens when I call, and I want to be like him, to love everybody. If we act like we love everyone, they just might think we are a Christian, ya think?

Sheyanne is Home!!
Sheyanne is finally home, along with her heart monitor, but she is doing well. We are really enjoying her, as she along with Ashley, will stay with us for a few weeks. The monitor went off a few times last night but nothing serious. Ashley, Austin and I had to have CPR training plus the monitor training before we could bring her home. I sure hope we never have to use CPR!!! Here are pictures of her and Ashley today. 1-22-09
